Summer Sale At Haddon Heights

July 31, 2020

Think of summer and what comes to mind? Travel? Beach? Fishing? Baseball? Ice cream? Flea markets? With some of those things off the table for the summer of 2020, we have all turned to remote and virtual experiences, and also nostalgic memories. The Haddon Heights Antiques Center is coming to the rescue with some tangible memories of summers past in its latest special sales display. This colorful and eclectic material covers almost every aspect of vintage summer, from old cameras and fishing rods to Phillies memorabilia and travel brochures. There are Atlantic City souvenirs, ice cream scoops and dishes, bathing beauties, and baseball gloves, as well as an old-fashioned suitcase and binoculars. In other words, theres something to trigger memories for everyone. One thing that antique collectors can still do this summer is visit an antique shop such as Haddon Heights. This longtime favorite South Jersey collecting destination, located just off I-295 and the White Horse Pike, is back up and running seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Masks are required, and social distancing inside the shop is encouraged. The shops address is 531 Clements Bridge Road, Barrington, N.J. For more information or directions, call 856-546-0555.
