Doylestown Arts Festival Returns Sept. 9 And 10

32nd Annual Event Will Feature Over 150 Artists, Five Stages Of Live Music, And Activities

August 18, 2023

The Doylestown Arts Festival will return for its 32nd anniversary on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The festival remains free of charge to attend and is designed to illuminate the regions ongoing commitment to arts and culture. For two days, the historic downtown Doylestown streets will be transformed into a lively outdoor marketplace full of art and music from local and regionally recognized creators. Founded in 1991, the Doylestown Arts Festival has supported independent artists and musicians for over 30 years while drawing attention and tourism to the local community. This years festival will offer familiar favorites to longtime attendees and a vibrant experience for those new to the area and visiting from afar. The two-day street festival will showcase a curated lineup of over 150 artists, 40 performances across 5 stages of live music, live art demonstrations from painting to glass blowing, and activities for all ages to enjoy. When I think of the splendid moments of growing up in Doylestown, and the reasons why I set roots here as an adult, the Doylestown Arts Fest is atop both lists. If you havent experienced the culture and fun of the Arts Fest yet, you should! said Christopher Baccash, Doylestown Borough resident. Home to over 8,000 residents as well as the Michener Art Museum, Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle, TileWorks, the County Theater, and a robust downtown of galleries, restaurants, and locally-owned shops and boutiques, Doylestown, Pa., is nationally recognized as a destination town. The Doylestown Arts Festival is made possible by a small volunteer committee of Discover Doylestown and is presented by the Thompson Organization.
