Delaware Train Show Set Back-To-Back with New Holiday Countdown Toy Show

Two Different Shows Will Be Held Dec. 2 And 3

On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Delaware Train Show will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nur Shrine Center, Route 13 / 198 South DuPont Highway, New Castle, Del. Admission will be $5, and children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge. There will be a $10 early buyers admission at 8 a.m. The train show will feature over 150 tables of trains, accessories, slot cars, diecast and some toys. There will be a diversity of trains in all scales and makes and a variety of dealers coming from up and down the East Coast. The show has grown and will have a special train layout on display by The Strasburg Model Railroad Club of New Jersey. The train show is Saturday only. On Sunday, Dec. 3, the new Holiday Countdown Toy Show, Delawares largest toy event, moves in. There will be 175 tables of new, collectible, and antique toys from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission will be $7, and children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge. The early buyers admission at 9 a.m. will be $15. There is free parking, and both indoor events are rain or shine. The Nur Shrine Center is convenient to I-95, I-295 and U.S. Route 40.
