The annual Old Morgantown Glass Collectors Guild (OMGCG) is hosting its annual convention and glass show on Saturday and Sunday, June 3 and 4, at the VFW Hall, 340 Holland Ave., Westover, W.V. Nine vendors will be present to display and sell elegant glass treasures. Show hours for both days will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the event is open to the public free of charge. The show will feature a door prize of an Anna Rose water pitcher with six tumblers. All pieces are optic. The speaker on June 3 will be Jim Wiley, who will present a lecture on Central Glass etches. The speakers on June 4 will be Anne and Max Blackmore, who will give a presentation on Tiffin Glass. There will be an auction at approximately 7:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall on June 3 that is open to the public. Featured auction items are all donated by members of the guild.
